Bilsmidigt AB is a digital car dealership based in Upplands Väsby. We have a large inventory of cars and are now looking to start and scale a new business: rental of stock cars – both through established platforms and through our own B2B agreements where companies rent cars on an ongoing basis.

We are now looking for a person who can own and drive the entire project from testing to scaling.

About the role

You will be responsible for building our rental business for real. This involves both operational work (getting cars rented out quickly) and strategic work (building agreements and long-term partnerships).

Examples of tasks:

  • Start and optimize rentals through platforms (GoMore, etc.): ads, pricing, availability, booking rules, reviews, and occupancy.
  • Select which cars will be included in the rental fleet and set routines for rotation (cars can be sold in the meantime).
  • Build up the B2B business: find companies that need rental cars, contact decision-makers, book meetings, and close agreements.
  • Develop and negotiate agreements: terms, responsibilities, deposits, deductibles, mileage, insurance, payment routines, and termination.
  • Create clear processes for: pickup/return, damage handling, cleaning/reconditioning, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Measure and report: occupancy rate, revenue per car, costs, damages, margin per car category, and improvement suggestions.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, business-minded, and enjoys building something from scratch.

We believe you have:

  • Experience in car rental, car pooling, fleet management, leasing, logistics, or B2B sales (not a must – but meritorious).
  • Familiarity with writing/managing agreements and terms (or a strong ability to learn quickly).
  • The ability to create structure and processes that others can follow.
  • Strong communication skills – you can talk to both private customers and companies.
  • A “doer” mentality: you make things happen and thrive on responsibility.

Meritorious

  • Experience in pricing and revenue management (occupancy, seasonality, price adjustments).
  • Experience with GoMore or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of insurance, deductibles, and damage processes.
